Brown cakes
- 250g butter
- 125 g light syrup
- 250 g brown sugar
- 2 tsp. potash
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- 3 tsp., Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. encountered carnation
- 2 tsp. bruised ginger
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 50 g chopped pomeransskal
- 100 g finely chopped almonds
- 500 grams flour (about 8 dl.)
The fatty substance, syrup and brown sugar executed in a saucepan and melt over low heat. Remove the pot from heat and let it cool a little. Potash udrøres in cold water. Spices are mixed together with the other stuffed into flour. The afsvalede sugar-fat substance mass executed in conjunction with the mixed potash. The dough is kneaded together. The dough rolled immediately into long rolls with a diameter of approx. 5 cm. Ask rollers cold, preferably overnight, so they are easier to cut.
Cut approx. 50 thin slices of the rollers and put the cakes on a greased baking sheet. Bake them at 200 degrees for 5-6 minutes.
