Childhood rose bread
- 50 g butter
- 1 ½ dl. milk
- 50 g yeast
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- nearly 300 g wheat flour
- egg for brushing
- icing sugar
- Rose watering process
The butter is melted and mixed with milk. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk and then add sugar, salt and approx. 300 g wheat flour. The dough is kneaded together and made to increase in three quarters. Turn the dough together and shape it into a long sausage. The dough is brushed with egg and bake in 12-15 minutes. at 225 degrees. Let bread cool down a little while you touch a glaze together the icing sugar and rose water. Glaze met on the bread and cut into 4-5 cm pieces.
